Tours

Our  kayak tours are designed to let you experience Amsterdam in a friendly and sportive way. We meet at a houseboat near the famous Leidseplein, where we start with a short introduction on basic kayaking techniques (if required). After departing we will try some techniques in the water to let you get comfortable with your kayak. A lot of course depends on your individual skill and experience, but kayaking isn’t difficult to do.

Hi! My name is Ed, born and raised in Amsterdam, and it is my pleasure to guide you in our kayaks through my wonderful city. 

I started Kayak in Amsterdam in 2019 to share my passion for this city with people from all over the world. The Amsterdam canals are unique in their beauty and history, and to explore them from your own kayak is a truly magical and unforgettable experience. With our personalized tours you can discover Amsterdam in freedom and at your own pace. We show you the highlights, but also take you to interesting and beautiful places where the big tour boats can’t go.

Around Jordaan  

A one hour tour that takes you around the quiet and beautiful Jordaan neighbourhood where we will pass the Anne Frank House and the famous Wester Church Tower. Departure: 1 pm

Classic Canal Tour

A two hour tour that lets you experience a variety of views of Amsterdam, including the beautiful historic canals with the famous Seven Bridges and Amstel River. Departure: 10 am

Explorer Tour

A three hour tour in which you will fully explore Amsterdam from the water with many highlights and landmarks. We will also take you to beautiful places and areas that are off the beaten track for an experience that you will never forget. Departure: 9.30 am
